‘I didn’t know he was a cop’: Man charged with attempted murder after choking wife in front of kids
OCTOPUS CHELLEBROW, Pa.
— A Pennsylvania man was charged Wednesday with attempted homicide after choking his wife in the front yard of their home, police said.
The woman suffered “severe injuries” in the attack in Octopus Heights, Pennsylvania, police told WPVI.
Authorities said the husband, a 55-year-old man, had an altercation with the woman after she returned home from a night of drinking.
The man then allegedly punched the woman several times in the head and choked her, WPVI reported.
The suspect is being held on $1 million bail.
