‘It was a great experience’ for wine barrel owner
A wine barrel in the wine barrel shop, in an office overlooking the River Severn, has been decorated with a wine barrel-shaped chandeliers.
The owner of the barrel, called the chandeliere, has since returned it to its original state and has been given a £100 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
The shop, called The Wine Barrel Chandelier, is in the centre of the city’s Old Town.
It was decorated with the chinese style wine barrel shaped chandeliers after the owner, who did not wish to be identified, saw one in the city centre last year and asked for a piece of it to be used in his shop.
He said: “I got a bit of money from a friend, but I thought it would be a good idea to get one.”
We had to look around and we couldn’t find anything, but a friend saw one and asked if he could get a piece.
“I got the china from a Chinese auction house in China and made it myself.”
It was beautiful and I love it.
“The owner said the chocolates were made by hand and he thought they looked good.
He added: “The chandelir is made from a large glass and it has an antique look, but you can use it for your wedding or your party.”
They’re very delicate.
It’s like a small piece of art.”
